Payton policies

Privacy policy

Effective September 29, 2026

Payton helps you decide which AI agents may use your connected accounts and what actions they may take. This policy explains the information Payton handles to provide that service.

Payton is operated by Another Day in LA, LLC, a California limited liability company.

Information we handle

  • Account and security details: your name, email address, password hash, profile photo if you add one, authentication settings, session information, and security events.
  • Connected accounts and vault items: the sites and accounts you connect, encrypted login credentials or provider tokens you choose to store, and connection status.
  • Agent authority and activity: agent identities, permissions, limits, requests, decisions, action results, receipts, and records needed to investigate or enforce those decisions.
  • Payment-related details: payment source and provider identifiers, rules and limits you set, purchase details, and receipts when you use supported payment features. Payment providers may separately collect and handle payment credentials.
  • Technical information: browser and device details, IP address, essential session cookies, and service or security logs generated when you use Payton.

How we use information

We use this information to run and secure Payton; authenticate you and your agents; store and retrieve your connected accounts; evaluate permissions and spending rules; provide approved handoffs and payment flows; maintain receipts; respond to support requests; and improve reliability and abuse prevention.

A grant lets the agent you selected request the specified access. You can review and revoke grants in Payton. A grant for a website login does not by itself authorize a purchase.

When information is shared

We share information with the agent, connected website, browser provider, payment provider, or other integration only as needed for an action you authorize and that the integration supports. These parties may process information under their own policies. We also use hosting, database, security, and support providers to operate Payton. We may disclose information if required by law, to protect the service or its users, or as part of a business transfer.

Payton's protected login handoff is designed to deliver a credential to an approved browser adapter rather than to the agent's conversation. Whether a particular agent supports that protected path depends on its browser integration.

Your choices and account controls

You can edit or remove vault items, revoke agent access, review activity, manage sessions, and download a data export from your Payton account. The export excludes reusable secrets such as vaulted passwords and authentication tokens. You can request account closure in account settings. Contact us for help with an access, correction, or deletion request.

Retention and security

We retain information while your account is active and as needed to provide the service, maintain security and action records, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations. Closing an account immediately disables its active access and starts a 30-day recovery period. After that period, account data is scheduled for deletion; completion can take longer when provider cleanup or legal obligations require it.

We use access controls, encryption for vaulted secrets, and other safeguards appropriate to the information we hold. No online service can promise absolute security. You should protect your Payton account and the connected accounts you authorize.

Updates and contact

We may update this policy as Payton changes. The effective date above shows the current version. If a change requires additional notice or consent under applicable law, we will provide it.
